Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including dental examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridges, root canal therapy, extractions, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments utilizing medical and dental terminology to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental imaging technology and anatomical knowledge to diagnose dental conditions accurately. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Document all medical and dental records precisely in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office policies. Collaborate effectively with team members through four-handed dentistry techniques for efficient patient care delivery. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive care strategies to promote long-term oral health. Qualifications Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials for general dentistry. Proven experience in dental office or clinic settings with a focus on comprehensive patient care. Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or similar practice management systems. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, infection control standards, and medical imaging procedures. Expertise in procedures including dental extractions, root canal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry principles and experience working with pediatric patients is preferred. Excellent communication skills to explain treatment plans clearly and compassionately to patients of all ages.
