Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Suffield, CT
Job Summary Seeking a Licensed Hygienist to join our established care oriented dental practice. We are looking to find a candidate who is friendly, caring, and is excited about oral health to be a part of our great team. Office hours are 8-5, M-Th. We are a welcoming environment that encourages patient trust and satisfaction. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health including radiology, patient education . Perform deep scaling's and periodontal maintenance . Anesthesia license preferred but not required. Assess patient vital signs and medical history. Develop a nice repour with patients, new and established. Requirements Valid Connecticut Dental Hygienist License Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices. Proficiency in infection control standards, anatomy knowledge, and aseptic technique to ensure a safe clinical environment. Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly and foster positive patient interactions. Experience working with medical terminology, medical records management, and understanding of HIPAA compliance is highly desirable.
