Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Cary, NC
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly Front Desk Receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will the first point of contact for our dental patients, providing exceptional customer service and support. This role requires strong clerical skills, proficiency with dental software and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment. Responsibilities Greet and assist patients and visitors in a professional manner. Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries, ensuring timely responses. Schedule appointments X-ray certified to help with emergencies if needed preferred Maintain accurate filing of dental insurance claims. Assist with clerical duties such as data entry, typing, and maintaining office supplies. Support dental receptionist tasks, including patient check-in/check-out processes. Skills Proficient in dental software (Docs, Sheets, Calendar). Strong typing skills with attention to detail. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction. Experience in calendar management to coordinate appointments effectively. Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar clerical role is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.
