Permanent Dental Receptionist / Front Desk Job in Tampa, FL
Busy, patient-focused dental practice in the area is seeking an experienced Dental Front Office Coordinator/Receptionist to join our friendly team! Key Responsibilities: Greet patients warmly and handle check-in/check-out processes efficiently Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments via phone, email, and in-person Answer multi-line phones with excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills Verify dental insurance benefits, file insurance claims, and follow up on outstanding claims Process payments, present treatment plans, and handle financial arrangements Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic charts Assist with other administrative tasks to keep the office running smoothly Required Qualifications: Minimum 1â2 years of experience in a dental front office or similar role Strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Proficiency in dental coding (CDT/ADA codes) and billing processes Solid understanding of dental insurance verification, claims submission, and pre-authorizations Outstanding phone skills â friendly, clear, professional, and able to handle inquiries courteously Excellent customer service attitude and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with dental practice management software Dentrix, a plus Reliable, detail-oriented, and team player What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Friendly and supportive team environment Opportunity to grow in a modern dental practice [Optional: Benefits package, paid time off, etc., if applicable] If you're organized, love helping people, and have the dental front office expertise we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you!
