Pediatric Dental Office Seeking a Dental Assistant. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is reliable, professional, and who can handle being bitten by a small child periodically. Initial tasks will include: -Administering routine preventive care such as dental prophylaxis and applying Fluoride Varnish -Exposing and processing digital x-rays -Writing detailed notes for routine and emergency appointments -Learning to navigate our dental software -Duties related to sterilization and infection control -Completing miscellaneous start- and end-of-day tasks With additional training there may be opportunities for the following: -Chairside assisting for restorative and surgical procedures, impressions, placing sealants, etc. -Assisting for treatment under general anesthesia in our office or at a local surgery center -This will not be an EDDA position Days/Hours: -Our office is open 4 days/week most weeks and 3 days/week on occasion. Most weeks will be about 32 hours.
