Responsibilities Assist the dental team during various procedures, including chairside support for pediatric and general dentistry treatments Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, materials, and sterilization techniques following infection control protocols Take and develop dental X-rays, including 3D scans, ensuring proper technique and patient safety Manage patient records accurately using EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, maintaining HIPAA compliance at all times Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring comfort throughout visits Support the dental receptionist with appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and medical documentation updates Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control standards Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a busy dental clinic setting with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; familiarity with Epic or medical coding is a plus Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and effectively; certification in radiography preferred Strong understanding of infection control practices, sterilization procedures, and aseptic techniques Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices and experience working with children is highly desirable Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and provide outstanding patient service Certification in dental assisting or relevant training; knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your skills make a difference!
