What You'll Do: As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in our practice by: ● Assisting the dentist during a variety of procedures. ● Preparing patients for treatment and ensuring their comfort. ● Taking and processing dental radiographs (X-rays). ● Sterilizing and maintaining instruments and equipment. ● Taking impressions and fabricating temporary crowns. ● Providing patients with oral hygiene instructions. ● Maintaining accurate patient records. ● Managing inventory and ordering supplies. ● Ensuring compliance with all safety and infection control procedures. ● Performing expanded duties. What We're Looking For: ● Experience: At least 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant. ● Certification: CDA, EFDA ● Radiography Certification ● Skills: ○ Proficiency in dental assisting procedures and techniques. ○ Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills. ○ Strong organizational and time-management skills. ○ Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. ○ Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and equipment. ○ Familiarity with dental practice management software (Eaglesoft) is a plus. ○ Knowledge of OSHA regulations and infection control protocols. ● Qualities: ○ A positive attitude and a strong work ethic. ○ A team player with a friendly and outgoing personality. ○ Reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented. ○ Compassionate and caring with patients.
