As our Dental Assistant, youâll play an important role in preparing patients for treatment, assisting during procedures, and maintaining a safe, caring environment. Job Description Duties and Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for dental exams and procedures. Assist dentists chairside with treatments, radiographs, and impressions. Educate patients on oral hygiene, aftercare, and treatment plans. Clean and disinfect operatories, instruments, and equipment after each use. Maintain organized inventory of dental supplies and materials. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety protocols. Partner with the front desk to support smooth patient flow and scheduling. Provide compassionate, professional service that exceeds patient expectations. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities · Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus. High School diploma or equivalent required. Dental Assistant certification or Expanded Duties certificate preferred. CPR or BLS certification required. Prior experience in a dental or healthcare setting preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
