Job Overview We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Dental Assistant/EFDA to join our growing practice. We are a modern, primarily paperless practice that uses digital charting and Primescan technology . Seeking a candidate that is dependable and a team player who values long-term stability and wants to grow with a practice. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure Assist the doctor chairside with all dental procedures Set up and organize instruments, equipment and materials Keep accurate, paperless records and support efficient workflow Qualifications Prior experience as a Dental Assistant or EFDA Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; Open Dental Active RDA or EFDA certification Familiarity with medical terminology, health information management, and HIPPA Ability to take digital scans using Primescan and/or Itero Maintain sterilization and infection control standards Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times Strong computer skills including familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks or Eaglesoft Minimum of 1-2 years of dental assisting experience preferred This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated healthcare team committed to providing outstanding patient care.
