Dental Assistant for Neola Dental Office in Minneola Role: Support the Neola Dental team in delivering exceptional patient care by preparing treatment areas, assisting the doctor, managing supplies, and ensuring smooth daily operations. This role is crucial in maintaining a well-organized, efficient, and patient-focused dental practice. Responsibilities: Clinical Support & Patient Care Prepare patient charts in advance and present them during the morning huddle. Assist the doctor during procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, and cleanings. Seat patients, update medical history, offer comfort menu, take x-rays, panoramic pictures, 3D scan and take blood pressure. Provide patient education on present findings, treatment plans, post-op care, next appointment and medication instructions. Treatment Room & Equipment Management Set up treatment rooms the day before appointments, ensuring all materials are organized. Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control standards. Ensure room binders are stocked with necessary documents like consent forms and instructions. Clean and sanitize all treatment areas, the lab, hallways, and break rooms at the end of each day. Inventory & Lab Case Management Monitor dental supply levels and order necessary items to ensure efficiency. Order and Track lab cases, ensuring timely delivery and follow-ups with external labs. Schedule & Office Coordination Manage the daily patient schedule, updating appointments and ensuring smooth patient flow. Confirm appointments, answer patient inquiries, and provide general office support. Arrive 30 minutes before the first patient to prepare equipment, turn on computers, and be ready for the morning huddle. General Office Support To assist with various administrative and operational tasks as needed, including answering phones, confirming appointments, and maintaining office cleanliness, such as trash removal, washing linens, cleaning the bathrooms, kitchen, and other common areas. Requirements: Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or relevant experience in a dental office. Knowledge of dental procedures, sterilization techniques, and patient care.[YV1] Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Ability to provide excellent patient communication and education. Familiarity with dental software and scheduling systems.
