Responsibilities Perform a wide range of dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and oral surgery. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history reviews, oral examinations, and diagnostic imaging. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences while explaining procedures clearly. Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with dental assistants and hygienists to deliver efficient four-handed dentistry. Educate patients on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing education and training. Qualifications DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school. Valid state dental license to practice as a General Dentist Experience in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery, and medical imaging is advantageous. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and HIPAA compliance. Ability to perform dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other complex procedures confidently. Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations including pediatrics.
