Experienced Endodontic Assistant / Cross-Trained Administrative Support Employment Type: Full-Time 8-4pm M-Th & F 8-3pm We are an emerging startup endodontic practice focused on delivering high-quality specialty care in a modern, efficient, and patient-centered environment. As a new practice, we are seeking an experienced dental professional who brings strong clinical skills, professionalism, and the ability to help establish systems and workflows that support long-term success. In this role, you will be a cornerstone of the office with many opportunities to grow with our practice and be a valuable member of our team. Position Overview The Experienced Endodontic Assistant will play a key role in both clinical excellence and operational support. This position is ideal for a skilled assistant who is comfortable working in a fast-paced specialty setting and is interested in contributing beyond chairside assisting through cross-training in front office and administrative functions. Clinical Responsibilities Greet and prepare patients for treatment Oversee operatory readiness, sterilization workflows, and clinical supply management Take and process high-quality digital radiographs, including CBCT imaging Provide advanced chairside assistance during endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, retreatments, and surgical endodontics Monitor patient comfort before, during, and after procedures Maintain a calm, reassuring chairside presence Review post-operative instructions and answer basic patient questions Anticipate provider needs and maintain efficient clinical flow Ensure strict compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Front Office & Administrative Support (Cross-Trained) Support scheduling, referral coordination, and patient flow as needed Assist with insurance verification, treatment estimates, and payment collection Provide professional patient communication via phone and in person Assist with maintaining organized patient records and administrative systems Collaborate with the team to improve operational efficiency and patient experience Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 2+ years of dental assisting experience; endodontic experience strongly preferred Georgia Dental Radiography Certification Georgia Dental Assisting Certification CPR/BLS certification Proficient with digital radiography and dental software systems Strong understanding of endodontic procedures, instruments and materials Knowledge of infection control protocols Excellent organizational, communication, and patient management skills Ability to multitask and adapt in a startup practice environment Ideal Candidate Profile Highly reliable, detail-oriented, and clinically confident Comfortable taking initiative and contributing ideas for practice improvement Professional demeanor with strong leadership potential Team-oriented mindset with flexibility to support both clinical and administrative roles Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
