Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Roseburg, OR
We are looking to add a sterilization assistant to our team. We are looking for someone who is organized and efficient. This is a non-chairside position. Job Responsibilities Greeting and seating patients Acquiring digital radiographs Taking impressions Setting up and cleaning the procedure rooms Sterilizing surfaces and instruments according to regulations Processing instruments and cassettes through the main sterilization units (autoclave and ultrasonic) Keeping records of spore testing and eyewash station flush Ordering and maintaining clinical supplies; Stocking rooms Maintain accurate patient records and charting Skills Typing proficiency Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Familiar with digital x-rays and electronic charting Excellent communication and people skills Well-organized and reliable Qualifications Oregon EFDA Certification Oregon Radiologic Proficiency Certificate CPR/First Aid Certification (Preferred) Pay: From $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 â 45.0 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off License/Certification: Radiology Certification (Required) EFDA Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
