Bloom + Brighten Kids Dentistry has a rare opening for a dedicated and compassionate Dental Assistant at our North Portland location! The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong background in dental assisting, particularly in a pediatric setting. Bloom + Brighten Kids Dentistry is a thriving holistic pediatric dental practice that’s redefining what dentistry can be. Our approach goes beyond teeth. We focus on whole-body health , including airway development, nutrition, and the oral microbiome. Qualifications: Previous experience in a dental clinic setting, specifically in pediatric dentistry is preferred. Strong understanding of medical terminology, dental terminology, and infection control practices. Ability to perform chairside assisting effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor with children. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medical documentation processes is essential. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and the dental team.
