The Job Overview We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our Mt Prospect location. The ideal candidate must have minimum 3 months of experience. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless workflow within the clinic, delivering excellent patient care, and supporting the dentist in providing high-quality services. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Manage patient records using EMR systems, including Dentrix or Eagle soft, while adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Conduct chairside assisting for various dental procedures for general dentistry. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions. Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently. Experience Dental Assistant: 3 months (Required) Spanish speaking preferred. Skills Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
