Our privately owned established dental practice is in search of a Expanded Functions Dental Assistant to join our team. Our practice prides itself on the outstanding care we provide for the last 46 years. With our state-of-the-art equipment, we are able to provide the most convenient and advanced dental care to our patients. We are looking for a competent Expanded Functions Dental Assistant who strives to build great rapport with our patients. You’ll ensure excellent customer service and be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. Responsibilities Welcome customers in the dental office Prepare patients for treatment Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments Understanding of health & safety regulations Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA) If this sounds like you, we look forward to hearing from you!
