Responsibilities Assist the dentist with a variety of dental procedures including prosthodontics dentistry, ensuring all tools and materials are prepared and sterilized according to infection control standards. Operate dental imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, capturing high-quality images for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Support chairside assisting by managing patient comfort through vital signs monitoring and providing clear explanations of procedures using appropriate dental terminology. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of safety within the clinic environment. Coordinate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments efficiently, manage patient flow. Ensure all clinical areas are organized, sanitized, and stocked with necessary supplies for seamless daily operations. Qualifications Previous experience working in a dental clinic setting is highly preferred. Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, taking X-rays, and understanding dental terminology is essential. Familiarity with dental software is a plus. Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques and anatomy related to dentistry. Ability to perform vital signs assessment and operate medical imaging equipment confidently.
