At Sola Kids Dental, we’ve built a calm, colorful, kid-friendly dental home in South LA — and we’re looking for a confident, surgery-focused General Dentist to join our team. The majority of our patients are covered under Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal , and access to in-house surgical care makes a huge difference for the families we serve. We’re looking for a provider who is comfortable handling extractions — especially third molars — in a high-volume, team-driven environment. About the Role: We’re seeking a General Dentist with strong oral surgery experience to work Fridays or Saturdays , with the opportunity to expand as demand grows. This role is ideal for a clinician who: Regularly performs wisdom tooth extractions (including impacted cases) Is comfortable working efficiently in a Medicaid-based practice Values teamwork and smooth surgical flow You’ll: Perform simple and surgical extractions Perform third molar (wisdom tooth) extractions Manage pediatric and adolescent surgical cases as appropriate Provide thorough treatment planning and consultations Maintain strong clinical documentation Deliver a calm, reassuring patient experience Collaborate closely with our general dentists and clinical team About You: DDS or DMD degree Licensed to practice dentistry in California Active Medi-Cal / Denti-Cal credentialing (required) Valid malpractice insurance 2+ years of experience performing surgical extractions and wisdom teeth independently Comfortable with high-volume patient flow Efficient, organized, and confident surgically Strong case presentation and communication skills (Bonus!) Experience treating teens and young adults (Double bonus!) Bilingual (English + Spanish) Note: This position does NOT require completion of an Oral Surgery residency. However, strong surgical experience is required.
