Our current team includes one doctor, one hygienist, one office manager, and one receptionist â and weâre ready to welcome a strong Lead Dental Assistant as we continue to grow. The Role We are looking for an experienced Lead Dental Assistant who is confident, organized, and takes pride in clinical excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role. You will work directly alongside the doctor while helping maintain clinical systems, organization, and efficiency throughout the office. As we grow, you will play an important part in shaping the clinical flow of the practice. What Youâll Be Responsible For Preparing and breaking down treatment rooms Maintaining sterilization protocols and infection control (OSHA & CDC compliance) Assisting chairside during a variety of general dentistry procedures Taking and properly storing dental radiographs Taking analog and digital impressions, pouring models, and/or 3D printing models Fabricating temporary crowns, custom trays, retainers, and other lab appliances Adjusting and polishing dental prostheses Entering detailed clinical notes and treatment plans Managing lab cases and writing prescriptions Monitoring supply inventory and placing orders Ensuring equipment is maintained and organized Providing patients with oral hygiene instructions and preventive guidance Performing delegated remediable tasks according to Florida regulations Weâre looking for someone who anticipates the doctorâs needs, keeps things running smoothly, and genuinely cares about the patient experience. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Florida Dental Radiography Certification 2+ years of dental assisting experience (general dentistry preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable with dental software and computers Excellent communication skills Ability to multitask and stay calm in a busy environment Willingness to continue learning and expanding skills Spanish or Haitian Creole language skills are a plus, but not required. Schedule & Compensation This is a full-time, in-office position.
