Position Overview We are seeking an Orthodontic Dental Assistant to support daily clinical operations in our orthodontic department. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and confident chairside. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, maintaining structure throughout the day, and contributing to a smooth, efficient workflow. Who We’re Looking For We are looking for an Orthodontic Dental Assistant who is steady, reliable, and confident in their abilities. Someone who: Comes prepared and ready to work Stays organized without being reminded Picks up on the doctor’s rhythm and works efficiently chairside Keeps the day moving smoothly Communicates clearly and respectfully with patients and parents Contributes to a positive, professional team environment Orthodontic experience is preferred. However, a strong general dental assistant with, willingness to grow in the role will also be considered. Key Responsibilities Assist during orthodontic procedures, including: Bracket bonding and debonding Archwire changes Color tie changes and adjustments Prepare, sterilize, and organize instruments and operatories Take diagnostic X-rays as needed Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Support a structured and efficient clinical flow Qualifications 1- 3 years of orthodontic dental assisting experience preferred Strong attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional communication skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on experience 401(k) with 4% matching Health, dental, vision, and life insurance PTO sick time and vacation time.
