Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques Assist dentists chairside during various procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Take and develop dental X-rays and medical imaging to aid in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning Manage patient records efficiently using electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix, ensuring HIPAA compliance for patient privacy Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, taking vital signs, and addressing questions with professionalism and empathy Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, medical coding, and medical terminology Familiarity with EMR systems like Eaglesoft Ability to operate dental equipment such as 3D scanners, X-ray machines, and other medical imaging tools confidently Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic technique, and sterilization procedures Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is a plus; experience working with children is highly valued Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members including dental receptionists and other healthcare professionals Join us in delivering outstanding dental care while advancing your career in a supportive environment that values your skills.
