Job Overview We are looking for an upbeat, motivated dental hygienist to join our close-knit team. If you are a team player that loves providing dental care in a supportive, patient oriented setting, we are looking for you. We are an office that is focused on customer service, attention to detail and patient education. We are chartless and digital. The position requires an Iowa dental hygiene license and to be in good standing with the Iowa dental board. The position is full time with regular clinic hours 8am-5pm Monday through Thursday (no nights and weekends). Pay is hourly and is based on experience. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy for patients of all ages. Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Stay current with advancements in dental technology and practices.
