Dental Assistant - Celebrate Dental & Braces - Mission, KS

Job Summary: We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team! This position is ideal for someone passionate about patient care and excited to grow in the dental field. Experience is preferred but not required – we are happy to train the right person. Bilingual in English and Spanish is required , and experience with Open Dental software is a plus. Responsibilities: Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures Assist the dentist during procedures such as exams, fillings, crowns, and extractions Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment according to OSHA and CDC standards Take and process dental X-rays Update and maintain accurate patient records and medical histories Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op instructions Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent chairside support Use Open Dental software for scheduling, charting, and records (preferred) Maintain dental supply inventory and restock as needed Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Dental Assistant certification (preferred, not required) X-ray certification (as required by state regulations) CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) Bilingual in English and Spanish – required Experience with Open Dental software (preferred) Strong communication and customer service skills Positive attitude and a willingness to learn Schedule: Monday – Friday: 7:45 AM to 7:00 PM (Flexible Shifts) Saturday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour Benefits: Employee discount Flexible schedule Paid time off Paid training Ability to Commute: Mission, KS 66205 (Required) Ability to Relocate: Mission, KS 66205: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
