We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily clinical operations, support the dental team with chairside assistance, and ensure the highest standards of patient care and infection control. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a wide range of procedures including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials, ensuring aseptic technique and infection control protocols are strictly followed Take and develop X-ray images, including 3D scans when applicable, while maintaining patient safety and comfort Educate patients on oral health care instructions, post-operative care, and treatment options in a clear and compassionate manner Coordinate with the dental reception team to optimize patient scheduling and streamline clinic operations Ensure compliance with all infection control standards and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment Skills Extensive experience with dental clinic operations including chairside assisting in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics Skilled in taking X-ray images, including digital imaging and 3D scanning technology Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, medical coding, and medical imaging techniques Ability to perform vital signs assessment and monitor patient health during procedures Expertise in infection control practices using aseptic technique to prevent cross-contamination Excellent communication skills suitable for collaborating with dental professionals as well as educating patients effectively Leadership qualities with experience supervising or mentoring dental assistants in a fast-paced environment Join us in delivering exceptional dental care while advancing your career as a Lead Dental Assistant!
