We are seeking a qualified, friendly and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team! The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and has a calm demeanor that helps children and parents feel at ease. A well-qualified applicant is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in South Carolina and has at least two years of experience. Responsibilities Perform the full scope of dental hygiene practices Evaluate gingival health and overall oral tissue condition Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene and preventative care Collaborate with the dental team on treatment planning and presentation Capture digital X-rays and maintain accurate patient records Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment Maintain a clean, organized and sterile work environment Support team members and office operations as needed Adhere to all health, safety and infection control protocols Qualifications Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program Current South Carolina Dental Hygienist licensure At least 2 years of experience in dental hygiene (pediatric experience preferred) Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and dental safety guidelines Proficient computer and data entry skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate patient care Positive attituded and a team-oriented mindset Position details Must be available to work at both Mount Pleasant locations (Zip 29464 and 29466) Twice a month, during the school year, hours extend from 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.
