We are seeking a full-time portable dental assistant! Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Description: Mid America Health is currently seeking a Full Time Dental Assistant to join our growing School Smiles team! This position is 5 days per week (Monday - Friday, during school hours) based out of the Lexington , KY area (2-hour radius) and is a rewarding opportunity providing portable dental services to children at local schools. This opportunity would be a great fit for a Dental Assistant interested in a low stress opportunity in a non-private practice setting. Hourly rate $27.00 hour for clinic hours worked and drive time NO weekend hours, and full benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401k, generous paid time off, paid holidays, flex spending, and a health savings account Company vehicle is provided, along with a gas and maintenance card An active Kentucky X-ray License is required for this opportunity Mid America Health strives to provide an excellent work/life balance. Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Duties Include: Responsible for maintaining portable equipment and supplies as well as maintenance of company van, all which remain in your possession at all times. Assist Dentist in portable operatory setup inside the school with chairside procedures as needed Responsible with loading/unloading and setup of dental operatory inside school Various administrative duties Full-Time Portable Dental Assistant Job Qualifications Include: Current Kentucky X-ray License is a MUST Current CPR for Healthcare Providers required 1-year Dental Assistant experience preferred Willingness to travel within a 2-hour radius
