*Job Overview* Working period : 4/13-10/15/2026 Working Hours: Monday, Tuesday and Thursday: 8:30-5:00pm We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support while our full time assistant is in Maternity leave. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide quality care to our patients. *Duties* - Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations - Sterilize and disinfect instruments - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments - Take and develop dental x-rays - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices - Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical documentation systems - Perform four-handed dentistry techniques - Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures *Experience* Required: - Proficiency in X-Ray procedures - Knowledge of infection control protocols - Familiarity with general dentistry practices - Ability to work with pediatric patients Nice-to-have: - iTero scan skill - Familiar with Dentrix Ascend Job Type: Part-time Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Experience: Dental assisting: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: X-Ray Certification (Required) Ability to Commute: Millville, NJ 08332 (Required) Work Location: In person
