About the Practice We are an established, privately owned general dental practice in Baton Rouge seeking an Associate Dentist to help meet increasing patient demand and expand the scope of care provided in-house. Our practice has a strong, loyal patient base and a steady flow of restorative and comprehensive care. As patient needs continue to grow, we are looking to add a clinician who is comfortable performing surgical extractions, molar endodontics, and implant restorations so we can better serve our existing patients and reduce referring treatment out. This position will begin on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to expand into a full-time role as patient demand and production continue to increase. Our goal is to grow responsibly and ensure the schedule supports long-term success for both the associate and the practice. The owner remains actively involved in clinical care and leadership and is seeking to thoughtfully expand the team in order to maintain quality, improve access to care, and continue building a sustainable, team-centered practice. We operate four fully equipped operatories (with space for a fifth), maintain a consistent PPO-based patient base with some Medicaid, and emphasize ethical treatment planning, efficiency, and collaborative growth in a supportive environment. This is a private, non-corporate practice focused on long-term stability, quality dentistry, and professional development. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive general dentistry Perform advanced procedures when clinically appropriate Develop strong patient relationships Collaborate with team to increase case acceptance and production Support practice growth initiatives Compensation & Growth Approximately 30% of adjusted production Part-time schedule to start, with opportunity to expand into a full-time role as patient demand increases Potential ownership discussions available after demonstrated performance and mutual professional alignment This position is structured for long-term growth and stability. Qualifications DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school Active Louisiana dental license Clinical proficiency in surgical extractions and molar endo Experience with implant restorations preferred Strong comprehensive treatment planning skills Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care Excellent communication skills and ability to build patient trust Current professional liability/malpractice insurance required Proficiency in Eaglesoft practice management software a plus Work Location: In person
