Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Full Time Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and possess a strong understanding of dental practices. This role is crucial in ensuring the oral health and comfort of our patients while adhering to the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Duties Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. Assist in the documentation review to maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Conduct assessments of patients' oral health, including reviewing medical history and identifying potential issues. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental office, ensuring all tools and equipment are sterilized and ready for use. Stay updated on medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental hygiene practices. Requirements Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of systems related to dental office operations. Experience or familiarity with pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required. Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to treatment. Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy related to dental health. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining professionalism at all times. Commitment to ongoing education and training in the field of dental hygiene. Everyone works very well together and we strive to provide the best care for our patients. This is a full time position Monday-Thursday. Our hours 8-5 (lunch 12-1). Office is closed on Fridays.
