Dental Hygienist Opportunity with a Private Practice in Goodlettsville, TN Goodlettsville Family Dental is looking to add a motivated Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to our team. We are a modern, privately owned practice with 6 operatories, advanced technology (CAD/CAM and CBCT), and continued growth with a second location. We value collaboration, clinical autonomy, and building a team that wants to grow together long-term. We’re searching for a hygienist who sees their role as more than routine appointments — someone who takes pride in patient education, co-diagnosis, and helping drive strong health outcomes for our patients and our hygiene department. Responsibilities Provide preventive care and periodontal therapy (including SRP) Co-diagnose alongside the doctor and educate patients on periodontal health Administer local anesthesia Discuss fluoride, sealants, and other adjunctive services confidently Utilize digital radiography, intraoral scanners, and Open Dental software Monitor periodontal metrics and support production goals Work closely with the doctor and team to maintain an efficient, positive patient experience Qualifications Active Tennessee RDH license Licensed to administer local anesthesia in Tennessee CPR and Nitrous Monitoring certifications Experience with comprehensive periodontal care Comfortable discussing treatment plans and patient education Familiarity with Open Dental preferred Experience with salivary diagnostics is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Generous 3-tier monthly hygiene bonus structure Holiday pay One week paid vacation Flexible scheduling options Supportive leadership that values work-life balance Opportunity for growth, including potential for a Hygiene Lead role Pay: $42.28 - $50.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule License/Certification: Registered Dental Hygienist (Required) Ability to Commute: Goodlettsville, TN 37072 (Required) Work Location: In person
