Duties Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures with professionalism and enthusiasm Verify insurance coverage using systems like Epic, Meditech, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, and Athenahealth Schedule appointments efficiently while managing multi-line phone systems and maintaining accurate patient records Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, including intake forms, treatment plans, and medical histories Assist with insurance claims processing, billing, and collections using medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10) and medical billing procedures Maintain organized medical records in EMR systems such as eClinicalWorks or other health information management platforms Support office management tasks including filing, data entry (10 key typing), and managing office supplies Qualifications Proven experience in a dental or medical front desk role with clinic or healthcare office experience Strong knowledge of EMR systems like Epic, Meditech, Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Athenahealth Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD-9/10 coding, CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance standards Excellent phone etiquette with the ability to handle multi-line phone systems confidently Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and computer skills for documentation review and data management Prior experience with insurance verification processes including Medicare and Medicaid is preferred Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and professional appearance Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team where your enthusiasm makes a difference!
