Permanent Dental Hygienist Job in Brownsburg, IN
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team to work 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental hygiene services. This role involves working closely with patients to promote oral health, perform assessments, and assist in various dental procedures. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for patients while adhering to all health regulations and standards. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care in general dentistry settings. Stay updated on dental terminology, medical imaging, and relevant coding practices. Qualifications Valid Indiana license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Experience with Eaglesoft software is preferred. Knowledge of anatomy, infection control measures, and medical terminology. Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on patient education and care. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.
