CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS: ● Bilingual Mastery: Must be fully fluent in both English and Spanish to provide patient education. ● Valid Licensure: You must hold a current State-Approved Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) License. Registered Dental Assistant Responsibilities ● Bilingual Patient Care: Greet patients warmly and provide genuine care in both English and Spanish. ● Clinical Excellence: Assist the orthodontist in procedures including bonding, impressions, and x-rays as the lead Registered Dental Assistant. ● Education & Training: Act as a teacher for patients and parents, clearly explaining treatment plans and hygiene instructions. ● Sterilization & Safety: Maintain all clinical areas and instruments according to OSHA guidelines and school-standard safety protocols. ● Lab & Records: Manage lab work tracking and update patient health history accurately in the dental office database. Registered Dental Assistant Requirements ● License: Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license and X-ray/Imaging licensure are Required. ● Language: Bilingual in Spanish and English is Required. ● Certifications: Must have CPR, Coronal Polish, and Sealant certifications. ● Experience: 1 to 3 years of dental experience; orthodontic experience is a plus. ● Education: High school diploma plus specialized dental assistant training. ● Tech Savvy: Proficiency in dental practice software and Microsoft Office.
