Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, dental charts, and radiographs to develop personalized treatment plans. Utilize dental terminology accurately to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and post-treatment care to patients clearly and confidently. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and comply with HIPAA regulations. Operate dental imaging equipment effectively for accurate diagnosis while maintaining proper medical documentation and medical records management. Collaborate with team members in four-handed dentistry practices to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures. Stay current with advancements in dental technology such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix practice management software to streamline workflows. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to medical documentation, HIPAA privacy rules, and infection control procedures. Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic or dental office environment with a strong foundation in general dentistry procedures. Hands-on experience with dental extractions, root canal therapy (endodontics), prosthodontics (crowns, bridges), and oral surgery techniques. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices for treating children effectively and compassionately. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medical imaging techniques essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft or Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing purposes. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient care while maintaining high standards of infection control and aseptic technique. Prior experience delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced dental setting is highly desirable.
