```Duties``` - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the patient, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist - Take and develop dental x-rays - Prepare and maintain dental equipment and supplies - Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care - Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records - Perform administrative tasks such as billing and insurance claims ```Qualifications``` - High school diploma or equivalent - Completion of an accredited dental assisting program - X-ray certification - Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments - Proficiency in using dental software systems (e.g., Epic, Eaglesoft) - Familiarity with medical coding and insurance billing processes - Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices - Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team - Knowledge of anatomy and ability to take accurate vital signs Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
