Job Title: Dental Assistant Employment Type: Full-time (Monday-Thursday) Pay: $22-28/hour (depending on experience) Location: Grand Junction, CO Position Overview The Dental Assistant supports the clinical and administrative functions of a family dental practice to help ensure efficient and high-quality patient care. This role works closely with the dentist and team members to maintain a smooth workflow and a comfortable environment for patients. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to providing excellent patient service. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care Help maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas Support patient flow and help ensure appointments run efficiently Provide general support to the dental team as needed Assist with patient preparation Help maintain dental supplies and equipment Support administrative or front office tasks as needed Follow office policies and safety procedures Help maintain accurate and organized patient records as appropriate Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for patients Perform other duties as assigned to support office operations Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Willingness to learn and follow clinical procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Good organizational and time management skills Dependable and detail-oriented Basic computer skills preferred **Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and Equal Pay Transparency Rules, the salary range above represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position.
