Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Kennebunk, ME
Our office is looking for a full time dental assistant. We are looking for someone reliable and friendly to join our team. We have a small, family owned practice and we offer a flexible schedule. We have a talented, supportive doctor and an experienced team that likes to have fun while providing high quality care in a professional, compassionate and personable manner. We are looking for that special someone who embraces the team concept, is articulate , organized and dependable. Our practice uses Eaglesoft dental management software and 1-2 years experience in a dental setting is required. Radiology certification and Maine radiology license preferred. Responsibilities for the position include: Welcoming and seating patients Record patient medical and dental histories Present treatment plans to patients Preparing exam rooms, instrument trays and ensuring operatory is ready for scheduled procedures. Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed Maintain accurate patient records and sterilization logs Sterilize instruments Provide oral hygiene instruction and post-operative care instructions Take necessary radiographs Keep operatories and lab stocked and prepare supplies order list Ensure records are in compliance with privacy and security regulations Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Application Question(s): Are you proficient with the Eaglesoft dental software program?
