Position Overview: As a Dental Assistant , you'll play an essential role in supporting our dentists during procedures, maintaining a clean and organized clinical space, and ensuring each patient has a comfortable and stress-free experience. Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control standards Assist dentists chairside during a variety of procedures Take digital x-rays and impressions as needed Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment Manage and update patient records accurately Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care Assist with inventory, ordering supplies, and general office support Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment Qualifications: Completion of a Dental Assisting program or equivalent experience preferred Radiology certification (or willingness to obtain) required CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain) required Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting Experience with Open Dental software is a plus Team player with a friendly and professional attitude Job Details: Location: New Lenox, IL Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (flexible scheduling available) Benefits: 401(k) , PTO, dental benefits, and training opportunities Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Benefits: On-the-job training Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
