Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental professional to join our dynamic dental team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dental care, support clinical operations, and ensure a positive patient experience. Your expertise in various dental procedures, patient communication, and clinic management will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of oral health and patient satisfaction. Duties Assist with patient intake, including gathering medical history and vital signs, and preparing patients for treatment Perform chairside assisting during a variety of dental procedures such as general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry Operate dental equipment including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and medical imaging devices while adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques Manage electronic medical records (EMR systems) such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, and Epic to document patient information accurately and efficiently Support the dental team with administrative tasks like scheduling appointments, managing medical documentation, and maintaining medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Conduct X-ray procedures following safety protocols and ensure proper image quality for diagnosis Ensure infection control standards are maintained throughout the clinic environment Assist in training new team members on dental terminology, medical coding, and clinic protocols Maintain knowledge of anatomy relevant to dental procedures and assist with complex treatments involving prosthodontics or endodontics Qualifications Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry procedures Proficiency in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or Epic is highly preferred Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and best practices for patient privacy and data security Experience with dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside support Ability to operate dental imaging equipment including X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively Strong understanding of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy relevant to oral health care Certification or training in infection control practices and aseptic techniques required Excellent communication skills for patient interaction and team collaboration Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to delivering exceptional oral healthcare.
