Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), where your expertise will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the delivery of exceptional dental care. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and materials for various dental procedures. Assist dentists chairside during examinations, restorations, endodontic treatments, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures. Take dental X-rays Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients on oral health practices and post-treatment care instructions in a clear and friendly manner. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments as a dental receptionist and maintaining organized medical documentation. Ensure infection control protocols are followed diligently to maintain a safe clinical environment. Assist with advanced technology such as 3D scanners and other dental imaging tools to aid diagnosis and treatment planning. Collaborate with the team in four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize workflow efficiency. Qualifications Valid certification as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or equivalent licensure. Proven experience in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, or endodontics preferred. Proficiency with EMR systems like Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Epic for managing medical records and documentation. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control standards, and aseptic techniques. Ability to operate dental radiography equipment for X-ray procedures safely and effectively. Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients of all ages, especially pediatrics. Experience supporting chairside assisting in a fast-paced dental clinic environment is highly desirable.
