Registered Dental Hygienist - Olsen & Peters Dental Group - Missoula, MT

Olsen & Peters Dental Group is seeking a part-time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team beginning in June. The position is scheduled for Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with the potential to add two half-day Fridays per month (8:00 AM–12:00 PM) during the school year. Responsibilities Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients Perform comprehensive screenings, including health history review, oral health assessments, oral cancer screenings, and periodontal and restorative charting Provide prophylaxis, patient education, and fluoride applications as needed Take dental radiographs and administer local anesthesia Accurately document completed treatment, discussions with the dentist, and recommended future care Maintain proper sterilization and sharpening of instruments Assist with monitoring and ordering clinical supplies Qualifications Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene (required) Active Montana Dental Hygiene and Anesthetic License (required) CPR certification Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations Experience maintaining and preparing dental equipment Skills & Attributes Strong communication skills with patients and team members Professional, friendly demeanor with a willingness to learn High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Job Type: Part-time Work Location: In person
