Our dental office is looking for a full time Dental Assistant to join our team. Our ideal team member is one who is patient focused, team oriented and a self-starter. Job Description Monday - Thursday - approximately 7:45 am - 5:00 pm Two Friday's per month - approximately 7:45 am - 12:00 pm (32-36 hours / week) Seat patients before dental procedures Assist dentists chairside during treatment Walkout patients after treatment Disinfect treatment rooms and set up for next procedure Take dental x-rays (with certification) Coronal polish (with certification) Sterilize instruments in sterilization area Schedule patients for future appointments Assist hygienists with periodontal charting, sealants, and turning rooms around for next hygiene patient Manage patient cases to and from dental lab Routine maintenance of equipment Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism Opportunities for growth and additional responsibilities Qualifications Outstanding communication skills Highly motivated and a self-starter Excellent customer service skills Strong computer skills (Open Dental experience beneficial) Dental experience required Taylor Meadows Dental ; Jay Miller DDS and Andrew Miller DDS 1101 S. 70th St., Suite 201 Lincoln, NE 68510 Phone 402-483-1101 Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: Bereavement leave Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Retirement plan Uniform allowance Work Location: In person
