Position Overview This role is best suited for an experienced Dental Assistant who works efficiently, anticipates provider needs, and contributes positively to patient experience and team culture. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail oriented, and comfortable working within established systems and protocols. Requirements Minimum of 3 to 5 years of chairside dental assisting experience Experience in general dentistry required specialty experience preferred Radiology certification required Preferably resides within a 10-15 mile radius of the assigned office location Comfortable with digital charting, dental software and clinical technology (iTero, AI Diagnostics) Key Responsibilities Provide chairside assistance with efficiency and professionalism Accurately document clinical notes diagnostic records and treatment information Maintain OSHA and HIPAA compliance at all times Prepare and maintain operatories instruments and materials Coordinate lab cases and manage clinical inventory as assigned Support efficient scheduling and patient flow Communicate clearly and professionally with patients and team members Maintain professional appearance and conduct Participate in cross training and team support when needed Professional and Interpersonal Expectations Demonstrates strong emotional intelligence and composure Maintains a patient first mindset while respecting clinical and operational boundaries Exhibits reliability punctuality and accountability Communicates clearly respectfully and professionally Approaches challenges with a solution oriented mindset Contributes positively to a collaborative team environment Growth and Development Smile Makers Dental Center values team members who take ownership of their role and demonstrate a desire for continuous improvement.
