Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert chairside assistance during pediatric and orthodontic treatments, ensuring precision and patient comfort.
- Capture high-quality diagnostic imaging, including digital and 3D X-rays, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Deliver outstanding patient care, fostering a reassuring and supportive experience for children and their families.
- Uphold rigorous standards of infection control through proper sterilization and preparation of dental instruments and equipment.
- Collaborate seamlessly with doctors to optimize clinical efficiency and maintain an organized, high-functioning practice.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records, adhering to best practices in medical documentation.
- Offer clear and compassionate education to patients and their families regarding oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment plans.
- Proficiently manage electronic health records (EHR) using advanced practice management systems, including Eaglesoft and Dolphin, to ensure precision in documentation and compliance.
Professional Qualifications
- Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license with demonstrated expertise in pediatric dentistry and orthodontics.
- Substantial experience utilizing electronic medical records (EMR) and practice management software, particularly Eaglesoft and Dolphin.
- Advanced proficiency in dental radiography, including digital and 3D imaging, alongside exceptional chairside assisting techniques.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to engage children, parents, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner.
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA regulations, ensuring the confidentiality and security of patient information at all times.
