Permanent Dental Assistant Job in Saratoga, CA

We are seeking a long-term, skilled and dedicated DA/RDA to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide exceptional patient care. This is a full-time position.
Duties:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including passing instruments, suctioning, and providing patient comfort
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records
- Provide oral hygiene instructions to patients
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist with dental laboratory procedures, including 3D scanning
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
Requirements:
- MINIMUM 5 YEARS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a dental assisting program preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocols
- Proficiency in dental documentation software such as Dentrix
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- X-Ray and coronal polishing certificate required
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
