Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control standards. Take patient medical histories and record vital signs as needed. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care. Manage patient records, including scheduling appointments and maintaining accurate documentation. Operate dental imaging equipment, including X-rays and 3D scanners. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations. Assist the Dr. for all general dentistry procedures with accuracy and timeliness. Experience Experience Required: At least 1 (one) year previous experience as a Dental Assistant is a must. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and contribute to our positive office environment from day one! Knowledge of medical terminology, dental terminology, and infection control practices is essential. Familiarity with dental coding is a plus. Experience with medical imaging techniques, particularly in a dental setting, is highly desirable. Certification Preferred: Certified Dental Assistants will be given preference.
