Job Title: Dental Hygienist Location: Tyrer Dental Care / Jonesboro, AR Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dentist in maintaining optimal oral health for our patients. Responsibilities: Perform dental cleanings and oral prophylaxis for patients Conduct patient oral health assessments, including charting and periodontal evaluations Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment Assist the dentist with exams and treatment planning as needed Follow infection control and safety protocols Qualifications: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene Current state Dental Hygienist license Certification in CPR/BLS Knowledge of dental software and digital charting systems Strong communication and patient care skills Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment Preferred Skills: Experience with digital X-rays and periodontal therapy Familiarity with dental practice management software Excellent patient education skills Benefits (if applicable): Competitive salary Paid time off $2,000 Sign-On Bonus Continuing education opportunities How to Apply: Please submit your resume and credentials to appointments@tyrerdentalcare.com or apply in person at2603 Browns Lane.
