Job Type: Part Time but will become Full Time Salary: Competitive ($16–$23/hour based on experience & certifications) About Us: We are a new pediatric dental practice dedicated to gentle, fun, and high-quality care for children. Our new office features bright, engaging spaces and the latest technology to create positive dental experiences. Job Summary: We're hiring an experienced Dental Assistant II who enjoys working with kids. You'll support our pediatric dentist chairside, help keep young patients comfortable, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced, child-friendly environment. Key Responsibilities: Chairside assisting during exams, cleanings, sealants, fillings, and other pediatric procedures Taking digital X-rays Administer/monitor nitrous oxide (certification required) Perform coronal polishing when needed (certification required) Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and follow strict infection control Educate kids and parents on oral hygiene in a fun, age-appropriate way Build rapport with children to reduce anxiety Chart accurately in digital software Assist with some basic front office tasks as needed Qualifications: Accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience Nitrous oxide certification required (or ability to obtain quickly) Coronal polishing certification preferred Radiology/X-ray certification required Current CPR (BLS) certification Pediatric dental experience or strong comfort working with children strongly preferred Friendly, patient, energetic, and great with kids Reliable with good attention to detail What We Offer: Competitive pay Fun, positive team environment Growth opportunity in a brand-new practice CE support and certification assistance Monday, Occasional Tuesdays, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday schedule Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour Work Location: In person
