Responsibilities: - Perform dental hygiene procedures, including but not limited to teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing - Conduct oral health assessments and screenings - Take dental x-rays completely digital - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions - Assist the dentist during dental procedures - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical documentation systems - Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and high-quality patient care Qualifications: - Valid state dental hygiene license - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program - Proficiency in using dental software for appointment scheduling, charting, and billing - Experience with medical imaging techniques and equipment - Ability to accurately assess patients' oral health conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans - Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients on oral hygiene practices and address their concerns SATURDAY HOURS AVAILABLE as well Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
