MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Completion of a Dental Assisting Program is required with expanded functions, showcasing a commitment to professional development. Completion of a Dental Assisting Program is preferred, showcasing a commitment to professional development. Oral surgery assistance experience is required, demonstrating expertise in surgical procedures. Ability to assist the dentist with managing medical emergencies; maintaining CPR certification where required. Display initiative by maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and establishing personal networks. High degree of flexibility, adapting to the needs of the practice and patients. NICE TO HAVES: Familiarity with dental software and scheduling systems.
